Pollution of water sources with nitrate ions and chlorinated organic compounds (COCl), such as some pesticides or their degradation products, is a major problem, especially in areas where intensive agriculture is practiced.
Project goal
The goal of the project is the transfer and development of a technology for depollution of water from sources contaminated with nitrates and chlorinated organic compounds (pesticides and their environmental degradation products), efficient and economically feasible, which can be used to obtain drinking water and / or for the remediation of groundwater bodies.

The general objective of the project is the transfer and development of a technology for depollution of water from sources contaminated with nitrates and chlorinated organic compounds (pesticides and their environmental degradation products), efficient and economically feasible, which can be used to obtain drinking water and / or for the remediation of groundwater bodies. The transfer will be made to an economic agent with important activity in the development, implementation of technologies and production of water treatment systems (ICPE Bistrița SA), in partnership with an economic agent with sustained activity in promoting and implementing technologies to beneficiaries (AKRO SRL), in order to increase economic competitiveness.
