NIRDCP-ICECHIM’s visual elements
The National Institute for Research & Development in Chemistry and Petrochemistry – ICECHIM Bucharest cooperates with many external organizations and the need to use the NIRDCP-ICECHIM Bucharest visual elements (emblem, logo, trade mark) or that of its Innovation Communities (PRIOCHEM) by third parties frequently arises.
The logo of NIRDCP-ICECHIM Bucharest and of its Innovation Communities are the intellectual property of the NIRDCP-ICECHIM Bucharest. NIRDCP-ICECHIM Bucharest will pursue cases of abuse and fraudulent use of these items.
I. Terms and conditions of use
I.1 NIRDCP-ICECHIM Bucharest g rants the use of the Innovation Community visual elements to designated Innovation Communities and their partners through signing a framework partnership agreement or by award a specific waiver.
I.2 Moreover, NIRDCP-ICECHIM Bucharest‘s logo and that of its Innovation Communities may be used by third parties subject to the below terms and conditions.
The visual elements may only be used if:
- Permission is requested and granted in writing ex ante the visual element is used;
- There is no likelihood for the user of the NIRDCP-ICECHIM Bucharest’s visual elements to be confused with NIRDCP-ICECHIM Bucharest and/or its Innovation Communities;
- It is not used in connection with objectives or activities which are incompatible with the aims and principles of the NIRDCP-ICECHIM Bucharest and/or of its Innovation Communities;
- It is not used to imply or suggest unintended endorsement or promotion of the objectives and activities of the user of the NIRDCP-ICECHIM Bucharest’s visual elements by NIRDCP-ICECHIM Bucharest and/or of its Innovation Communities.
I.3 NIRDCP-ICECHIM Bucharest’s visual elements shall be used in its entirety without distorting, modifying or separating its component elements.
Permission to use the NIRDCP-ICECHIM Bucharest and/or an Innovation Community visual elements does not confer on those to whom it is granted any right of exclusive use, nor does it allow them to appropriate the visual elements, either by registration or any other means. Each case will be examined individually to ascertain whether it satisfies the criteria set out above. Permission to use will be unlikely granted in a commercial context, should the visual elements of NIRDCP-ICECHIM Bucharest be used in conjunction with a company’s own logo, name or trade mark.
II. Requesting permission to use the NIRDCP-ICECHIM or any of its Innovation Communities visual elements
Request for permission should be submitted to the National Institute for Research & Development in Chemistry and Petrochemistry – ICECHIM Bucharest. All NIRDCP-ICECHIM Bucharest units are authorised to render permission to use the NIRDCP-ICECHIM Bucharest’s visual elements subject to the terms and conditions as described above, to third parties.

NIRDCP-ICECHIM Bucharest grants the use of NIRDCP-ICECHIM Bucharest Innovation Community logos to the designated Innovation Communities and their partner organisations. For permission to use a specific Innovation Community logo, please contact the Innovation Community Organizing Committee directly.
