The area of Bioeconomy has as objective the development of new bio(nano)technologies and bio(nano)products for the capitalization of bioresources and the sustainable intensification of their production
The area of Bioeconomy has as objective the development of new bio(nano)technologies and bio(nano)products for the capitalization of bioresources and the sustainable intensification of their production. Applied and fundamental-oriented research contributes to the development of knowledge in the field and to increasing the visibility of the institute, substantiates the technological transfer and open innovation and provides the necessary framework for the training of new researchers. The BioProtect project proposes the use of nanomaterials both as an active ingredient and as a delivery system for bioactive compounds recovered from grape by-products for the development of cosmetics.
High performance phytosynthesized nanostructures as biosensor platforms for detecting pathogenic microorganism from food matrices
The concept of the NanoBIOPAT project is based on a modern and “green ” method of obtaining mono and bimetallic nanostructures using natural extracts from cruciferous vegetables, to obtain sensing platforms to detect microbial pathogens
